The Climate smart Home Garden programme is implemented by the CSIAP to ensure the food security and earn additional income for the farmer family, by promoting following climate smart agriculture practices to increase the home garden productivity with contribution to climate change adaptation and mitigation.
Up to date, the CSIAP has assisted the farmers in establishing 63539 climate smart nutrition sensitive home gardens within hotspot areas covering all 06 provinces. In the meantime, has produced 4161 M/tons of vegetables, tuber crops leafy vegetables and fruits including 1.78 Mn eggs from this Climate Smart Hope Garden Programme.
